David Kwame Dontoh, the chairman of the National Films Authority, and a veteran actor has accused young filmmakers in the nation of being to blame for the downfall of the nation’s once-vibrant film industry.
David Dontoh asserts that these new film producers were given the chance to break into the business because filmmaking itself eventually became simple.
“When we were transitioning from celluloid film to video film… video film is a lot cheaper, a lot faster easier and virtually anyone can manipulate the camera”, he revealed
“When video technology came into the system, people found it easy to use it to make money for themselves”, David Dontoh said on E-TV in a studio discussion monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
