The running mate to the 2024 New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has revealed that it is only under President Akufo-Addo’s government that the country has not experienced hunger.
He stated that, the absence of hunger under this NPP government is a sign that God has blessed the country.
Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), made this statement during his unveiling ceremony at Kumasi Jubilee Park as the running mate of NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr Opoku Prempeh further noted that the favourable weather on the day was a sign of blessing of God on the NPP.
“Do you see the weather? Today, God did not let the sun shine, I’m I lying? He made it rain for the ground to be wet. God has Blessed NPP.”
“Nana Akufo-Addo is the only President in Ghana under whose 8 years administration that there has been no hunger,” he said.
According to him, “while the whole world was experiencing hunger, Ghana had enough food. Let us give thanks to God almighty for what he has done for us”.
