THERE’S IS NO FORMULA FOR HIT SONG – Flowking Stone

According to well-known Ghanaian musician and rapper, Flowking Stone, there is no technique or recipe for generating a hit song.

Some musicians in the industry find it quite simple to release a hit song. While some people find it relatively simple to release popular songs, some people also find it challenging.

In Flowking Stone’s view, when a song is launched, the musician may think it would be a hit, but occasionally, some of these songs fail to reach the chart ladder.

“I have released certain songs that I thought would shake the very core of Ghanaians but unfortunately, they did not make the impact I expected. My song, Blow My Mind featuring Akwaboah is one I never thought will go far.

“Sometimes, I believe Shatta Wale’s style of releasing many songs at a time is a good trick to make a hit.

With that, you are sure at least one or two songs will be popular out of the many dropped. Moving forward, I think I will adapt that style,” he said in an interview on Graphic Showbiz.

Flowkingstone is known for some popular songs such as Opana, Go Low, Mekyeakyea, Breaking Me Down, and Feel Good. He is now out with a new single Dimple after taking a break for close to three years.
