Socialite and actress, Efia Odo has revealed some insights about her experiences in the entertainment field.
The actress revealed that in discussing her relationships with industry professionals, she has learned that people in the industry only connect for business reasons, emphasizing that true friendships are rare.
She does not pretend to be friends with people because she believes there is no reason to fake friendship.
Efia Odo mentioned that she has gained valuable insights from attempting to form friendships in the showbiz sector.
“I feel like this industry, there’s no friendship in this industry. It’s more of acquaintances, business associates, It’s not really friendship. Maybe one or two people but in reality, it’s always been like what you can do for me and what I can do for you,” she explained on 3FM Lounge, Wednesday, August 14.
She continued: “What’s the point in faking it? For me, I have people who I am close to and cool with and after that we go our separate ways…I think I have also learnt a lot about trying to be friends with people in this industry but it’s good.”
