THERE’S TOO MUCH VIOLENCE IN AFRICAN DANCEHALL – Samini Reacts To The Death Of Unruly Grank

Legendary Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall musician, Emmanuel Samini simply referred to as Samini has expressed devastation over the untimely death of a budding Dancehall artist, Unruly Grank.

Unruly Grank who is reportedly based in Cape Coast died after someone who he was allegedly beefing stabbed him on Sunday, February 7.

Samini took to his Twitter page to lament over the violence brooding within the Dancehall music fraternity in Africa.

According to the one-time MOBO-award winner, everyone has to be blamed for what the genre has been turned to now and the onus lies on us to determine the behavior of the young ones coming up.

He tweeted;

 “Sad news I’m hearing about a stabbing incident in cape coast resulting in a young dancehall artist’s sudden death.. RIP to de yout #UnrulyGrank ..The violence in the African dancehall must STOP. We are all responsible for the way our next generation are behave. ” .
