Ghanaian-base Despite their enormous talent, Ghanaian artists have been unable to reach their full artistic potential, according to US gospel singer Dr. Sonnie Badu.
This came about as a result of a crucial inquiry that Pastor Brian Jones Amoateng of Brain Jones Ministries posed on his Instagram page about what is restricting Ghanaian gospel musicians.
He wrote; “Ghanaian Gospel musicians are so so gifted. What is limiting them (Just thinking) #PastorBrain”
In response, Sonnie Badu asserted that the main reason why most gospel musicians in Ghana aren’t succeeding is because they don’t respect those who have already made it big.
According to Sonnie Badu, there is a lack of collaboration among individuals who operate in the field.
He asserted that although they frequently look to be together in public, there are frequently serious issues present in private.
Sonnie Badu said that he had had enough of helping people because they had been denigrating him when Pastor Brian questioned him about what he was doing to promptly address these issues.
He then went on to claim that some of the musicians had bribed DJs to ensure they would not play his song and provide them a stage from which to disparage him.
