Ghanaian actor, businessman and politician, John Dumelo has taken a hard swipe at celebrities who fake their love for their colleagues especially when they are in distress.
Following the devastating news about the ruined home of actress, Beverly Afaglo after fire razed down her house completely leaving her with nothing but the dress she wore when the incident happened.
Akuapem Poloo and Moesha Boduong fell into certain situations in their lives where it was obvious they needed that help and popular comedian, DKB came through soliciting for funds from benevolent Ghanaians to support her son in school when she was sentenced to 90 days in prison.
Yvonne Nelson and other celebrities are trying to raise $20,000 to support actress Beverly Afaglo but critics are saying these celebs are faking because they can raise that amount themselves.
However, John Dumelo is not pleased by such gestures as he describes it as fake.
“People pretend they care not because want to help but because they want to laugh”, Dumelo tweeted.
