THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED IN ACCRA, KASOA, KUMASI AND TAMALE THIS EVENING

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has released a 24-hour weather forecast that calls for a combination of sunlight, thunderstorms, and hazy conditions throughout the nation.
The prediction predicts that patches of mist and fog will form over mountainous and wooded areas in the early morning hours.
Along several coastal and rural areas, such as Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast, Axim, and Aflao, there is also a 40% probability of thunderstorms, with or without rainfall.
Much of the nation is predicted to see sunny spells interspersed with cloud cover throughout the day.
However, GMet cautions that isolated thunderstorms, again with or without rain, are predicted to affect the country’s northern regions, transitional zones, and central belt from late afternoon into the evening.
