Netherlands-based Ghanaian political commentator and content creator, Kofi Gabs, also known as Mr Happiness, has strongly criticized Pastor Mensa Otabil from the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).
During his time in Ghana, Kofi Gabs, a former member of ICGC, criticized Otabil for collecting tithes from his followers.
He believes that in the Bible, tithing was specifically for the Levites and not as common as modern preachers make it out to be.
Kofi Gabs mentioned that Otabil is aware of this, which is why he avoids preaching from the parts of the Bible that could reveal his flaws.
He further commented that ICGC changed the name of tithing to the first fruit in order to help Otabil avoid the teachings of the Bible.
