Sensational gospel musician, Piesie Esther, who bagged seven nominations at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) has stated that even if she does not receive an award at this year’s ceremony, she will still express her appreciation to God.
She claims that despite her tireless efforts over the years, Ghana’s good people have begun to acknowledge her efforts as seen by the nominations she has gotten for this year’s awards.
She is confident that she will win numerous accolades at the VGMAs, but she won’t be concerned if she doesn’t.
“I am very optimistic I will sweep awards at this year’s VGMA, however, if I don’t win, I believe my good works have been appreciated and God has shown his light on me. I will be grateful to God for this opportunity after several years of working hard.
It will be painful and I pray It doesn’t happen that I won’t pick even one award out of the seven. But even if it happens, I will give God the praise for my nominations. I know for sure that Gospel will win,” she said on UTV
