VICTORIA LEBENE MEKPA SIGNED AS BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR AMERICAN FILM AWARDS IN LOS ANGELES

Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Victoria Lebene Mekpa, now known as Mrs. Victoria Osafo-Nkansah has been made an ambassador for the international brand, the American Film Awards.

The American Film Awards is an award scheme designed to connect African movie makers, directors, producers, and actors including professionals from other filmmaking industries such as Nollywood and Bollywood with filmmakers in Hollywood in the United States.

The Chief Executive Officer of American Film Awards, Frank Ezenekwe espouses that the primary purpose behind the awards scheme is to celebrate the best films of the year and put the spotlight on them.

This year’s edition is scheduled to come off on September 23, 2023, in Los Angeles.

Victoria Lebene who is the newly signed brand ambassador for the American Film Awards in Ghana is one of the shortlisted recipients of the Signatory Awards known as the Hollywood Signature Awards.

The illustrious screen goddess and entrepreneur is also a prospective nominee in the 2023 edition of the American Film Awards as organizers are feasibly undertaking the nominations processes.

Other ambassadors include BBNaija’s JayPaul, and BBTitans star, Kanaga Jr. among others.

Victoria Lebene’s role as ambassador of the American Film Awards includes connecting Ghanaians living in Ghana and the diaspora to the American Film Awards through awareness creation among others.

Mrs Victoria Lebene Osafo-Nkansah born on July 30th 1989 also known as Victoria Lebene is an award-winning Actress, Humanitarian and Entrepreneur.

She was born in Accra where she started her early education but continued in several elementary schools across the region as a result of the transient nature of her father’s occupation. She is a prolific and educated young woman who studied Human Resource Management at Zenith University College and topped up at the African University College of Communications where she acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Communications.

A vibrant young woman, abreast with humanity hence championed a lot of causes on social and environmental issues in Ghanaian society. She also practised Journalism and News production at GH One TV.

Victoria’s main objectives are to use communication to facilitate Social development, assess risks and opportunities, Entrepreneurship, social marketing, media advocacy, and community participation.

CAREER

Mrs. Victoria Lebene Osafo-Nkansah made her first debut in 2012 where she was featured in a series titled “Ultimate Story”. Since 2012, Victoria has played roles in productions such as Miser, A Sting in a tale, Jackie goes to school, Broken Mirror, Accra Girls, Honey Moon, Bitter sweet wine, Babaani and Ramadan.

She has received many award, nominations and citations ranging from movie, civil society organizations, Universities, NGO’s and a host of others.

She has however been an influencer and ambassador for many brands such as Twellium company limited, producers of Verna water, First Choice Hair & Beauty, Pineapple Cosmetics just to mention a few.

As a young dynamic and promising lady, Mrs. Lebene is the Founder of a Natural skincare & Wellness Company, ‘THE SKIN POP SHOP AND SPA’. She is currently spear heading one of the most prominent skincare companies in Ghana as the C.E.O and a Skin Therapist.

Over the years, Mrs. Victoria has acquired the following skills and experiences from Acting to M.C. / Hosting and Planning of Events.

– Golden Movie Awards 2019 Red carpet. She has hosted events such as Event guide magazine Launch, Ghana Tertiary Awards, Moderator at forums and Conferences, presenting TV Shows and public speaking.

Victoria is happily married with two beautiful children.
