John Dumelo has reacted to the Info Analytics poll forecasting a decisive win for him in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
The poll suggests that he would secure 56% of the total votes, while his opponent Lydia Seyram Alhassan of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would receive 39% in the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary elections.
In the 2020 elections, Lydia Alhassan retained her seat with 39,851 votes out of 77,604 total votes.
Dumelo of the NDC received 37,778 votes, and an independent candidate got 108 votes.
Despite the prediction indicating Dumelo’s increasing popularity and Lydia Alhassan’s perceived incompetence, Dumelo stated on Twitter that he will not be complacent and will continue to strive for victory.
He posted;
“We will continue to work smart, be less complacent and extra vigilant. Vigilance and smart work will ensure victory for us on Dec 7th.
