The Attorney General (AG) has submitted a Nolle Prosequi to halt the treason felony charges against Oliver Barker-Vormawor, a primary organizer of the #FixTheCountry movement.
The allegations that had embroiled him in an extended legal struggle have now been dropped, signalling the conclusion of a case that lasted more than three years.
After the AG’s ruling, Barker-Vormawor went on social media to express his thoughts, blaming the government for derailing his academic goals.
“Since the intention was to impede my doctoral programme. I want to say Ayekoo to the Government and to Godfred Dame.
They succeeded. Kindly release my passport and take me off the No Fly List. And now that I have lost my funding for Cambridge; we need to address that too so I can finish my programme. Shalom,” he wrote.
