VOTE NPP OUT IF THEY FAIL TO ACCOUNT FOR THE E-LEVY – Mr Logic

Highly-opinionated entertainment critic and artist manager, Mr Logic, has stated that the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP should be voted out of power if they fail to account for the E-Levy.

On Saturday’s United Showbiz on UTV, he warned viewers that if a government fails to deliver on its promises, they may be deposed.

“I’m waiting to see whether the NPP will be held responsible for the E-levy. Then we will vote them out,” he told Efia Odo, the show’s special host.

Mr Logic believes that passing the e-levy is a good thing since the world is turning cashless. So Ghanaians should respect the new tax system and stop fighting.

“Stop moaning about the levy and start being responsible,” he urged.

In his opinion, digital transactions are more convenient than keeping large quantities of money and carrying them to the receiver.

In-person transactions are more costly and time-consuming since one must board a vehicle or line for extended durations at banks and other money selling sites.

It’s possible to send GHS 1000 and get charged 20. By contrast, if I have to deliver it personally, I must either leave my home or take money from a bank. “Do I have to pay the fare if I board a car?” he inquired.

“Why do we continually complain? That is why we as a people remain stagnant?”

Mr Logic said that blaming the NDC or the NPP for the status of the economy does not help it.
