WE ARE NOT GAY, WE CROSS-DRESS FOR CONTENT AND MONEY – TikTok Content Creator Abokomah Clarifies

Deaconess Abokomah, a TikTok content creator from Ghana, revealed in a recent interview that their choice of clothing is focused on earning money rather than reflecting their personal identity.

Abokomah consistently wears clothing that resembles that of a traditional Ghanaian senior woman in his TikTok videos. He frequently illustrates the behavior of certain elderly women towards their families, neighbours, and community members.

His presentation of these ideas is often creative and relatable in a comical manner.

During a recent GTV interview, the young man emphasized that cross-dressers are not homosexual, despite popular belief.

“I know the audience I am appealing to with my craft. Most times we look like women but the content is often based on how our grandmothers and mothers behave at home. Most people could relate to some of the things we portray in our content. That doesn’t make us gay. It just means are creative. There are other people who cross-dress and openly declare their sexual orientation but I want to state categorically that, our style is only to make money and get endorsement from brands.” He stated.
