WE CAN’T FIND HIM ANYWHERE – Christian Atsu’s Agent Says He’s Still Missing After He Was Reportedly Rescued

Ghanaians’ formerly positive attitude toward the Christian Atsu scandal has abruptly taken a turn for the worse following his agent’s claim that the footballer is still missing,

Christian Atsu’s agent, Nana Sechere, claims that they are unable to establish the footballer’s whereabouts.

He claimed in a statement that despite searching numerous hospitals, they have been unable to find the former Ghanaian international since the news of his discovery broke on Tuesday.

“Following yesterday’s update from the club that Christian had been pulled out alive, we are yet to confirm Christian’s whereabouts.

“As you can imagine, this continues to be a devastating time for his family and we are doing everything we can to locate Christian.

“Official updates will be provided as more information comes to light. Please respect the families privacy during this harrowing time, and refrain from spreading unsubstantiated news as this will only hamper the search efforts for Christian.

“Thank you for all your prayers and support.” his statement read.

The surprising information was revealed as Hatayspor manager Mustafa zat stated that Atsu had been discovered hurt.

“Christian Atsu was removed with injuries. Unfortunately, our sporting director Taner Savut is still under the rubble.” he said.

He added after some time: “I just had another meeting. Christian Atsu was taken to hospital with injuries.”

Francisca Ashitey-Odunton, Ghana’s ambassador to Turkey, asserts that Atsu has been found but cannot be located at this time because of the misunderstanding that exists.

“We’re yet to establish contact with Christian Atsu because of the confusion around but we know he’s been pulled out of the rubble and sent to the hospital”. she said Wednesday morning.
