Renowned Ghanaian actress and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown has addressed the recent incident at Stonebwoy’s album party where Bullgod, an artist manager, tried to kiss her.
McBrown described the surprising but ultimately harmless moment as causing a lot of social media buzz.
Reflecting on the incident, McBrown described her initial reaction. “I wasn’t expecting that. Was he really going to kiss me like that?” She explained that Bullgod’s actions were driven by excitement. “He was just excited to see me, and we hadn’t seen each other in a while. Although I was shocked, I won’t fault him. Bullgod is the type who likes to joke around, and I believe the kiss attempt was harmless,” she shared.
When questioned about her reaction if the kiss occurred, McBrown stated that she would have remained composed.
“If he had kissed me, I would’ve quickly pulled back and said, ‘Ah!’ But I wouldn’t get mad at him. Even though it’s not allowed, it would’ve happened already, and at that moment, there was nothing I could do about it. Maybe later, I would have pleaded with him not to do that again.”
McBrown made it clear that there is no romantic or sexual involvement between her and Bullgod, refuting any misunderstandings.
“We don’t have anything sexual going on. He just likes to play. I don’t see anything wrong with it, but society will talk about these things. Bullgod is someone who respects me a lot. I don’t know if I’m older than him or if he’s older than me, but he treats me like a goddess,” she said.
McBrown also clarified common misunderstandings about her dealings with male individuals in the entertainment field.
“I’m like a sister to all men. I used to play soccer, so I used to associate with men more than women. I don’t sleep with people I work with because the moment sex enters the equation, the working relationship ends,” she clarified.
