Ghanaian songstress Wendy Addo, famed as Wendy Shay, has taken a subtle jab at her haters in the music industry who criticise her for always singing songs about hate.
The Astalavista singer took to social media to hit back those always attacking her for singing songs that seem to speak about hatred.
According to her, the faces of the people making such claims look like insults and was at a loss as to why they keep talking her brand into the mud.
Wendy Shay added that ever since she gained the spotlight in Ghana’s music industry, she has been given nothing but hatred.
She, therefore, linked her kind of music and lyrics to the treatment that has been meted to her by players in the music industry.
The Ruff Town Records signee took to Twitter to lambast her critics and called them out for treating her unfairly.
Her tweet read: “See demma facespeople who look like insults always insulting Wendy Shay Some of you complain I always sing about haters What have you guys given me since I entered the music industry Is it not hate ? Official video drops tomorrow at 11 am #HIT #SHAYGANG #SM #RUFFTOWN”
