“WE’RE TIRED OF SLOW MOTION—LET’S SEE ACTION!” – KSM Blasts Mahama Gov’t

Renowned comedian and social commentator Kwaku Sintim-Misa, popularly known as KSM, has taken a swipe at President John Mahama’s administration, accusing it of moving at a frustratingly slow pace while allowing unnecessary political distractions to dominate national discourse.

In a fiery critique on his YouTube channel, KSM slammed the government’s handling of key issues, particularly the ongoing back-and-forth between the ruling NDC and opposition NPP over a cocaine scandal, which he says is overshadowing critical governance matters.

According to him, the lack of a clear, action-driven agenda from the government has created a vacuum, giving room for opposition figures to push what he calls “silly agendas.”

“If the government had a solid, well-detailed national plan with clear policies and timelines, there would be no space for these needless distractions,” KSM argued. “Rev. Ntim Fordjour’s actions are part of an agenda, and it’s sickening. The NDC must step up and fill this gap with real governance—not noise.”

The outspoken comedian also expressed disappointment in the lack of momentum from Mahama’s administration, noting that Ghanaians voted for “fresh energy” but are now feeling let down.

“President Mahama has energy, but it seems his ministers aren’t matching his pace,” he said. “People aren’t feeling the impact of this government. Where’s the urgency? Where’s the drive?”

KSM called for a more hands-on approach from sector ministers, urging them to clearly outline their plans and work aggressively to support the president’s vision.

“The energy I see in Mahama, I want to see double in his ministers. If they don’t step up, we’re wasting a golden opportunity,” he warned. “Ghanaians are tired of slow motion—we want action!”
