Manager of Maradona Adjei Yeboah known popularly as Guru’s campaign manager, Andy Dot Com has stated that they were already aware of plans against their candidate prior to officially entering the election.
The campaign team is not discouraged by these schemes as they are committed to their ultimate objective.
They plan to challenge the disqualification of their candidate because they believe it is illogical.
Andy Dot Com had a conversation with Radio Univers based in Accra.
“The disqualification hasn’t affected us, and we’re not surprised either. We knew they started scheming against him long before he even filed to contest. This is just the culmination of their plan,” he remarked.
Guru meets all the requirements to run in the UGSRC elections. He is entitled to vote and to run for office. Disqualifying him only because he is not a resident is not justified.
There’s an incumbent executive who was non-resident when he contested last year, so what’s different now? This seems like a deliberate move against Guru. We have handed it over to our legal team to explore legal action,” he said.
