Ghanaian journalist and news anchor, Bridget Otoo, has taken a swipe at the Inspector General of Police, Akufo Dampare following the death of two police officers whilst trying to clamp down on bullion van robbers.
The Ghana Police Service announced the arrest of four more officers for participating in thefts on bullion vehicles around the nation.
According to her, the IGP was busy establishing discipline among civilians while his employees were polishing their proficiency in bullion van heist.
According to the media, the police force has more armed robbers than those named.
“The IGP was busy instilling discipline among citizen while his men were busily perfecting their bullion Van and armed robbery attacks, If you have more than 7 trained police officers involved in bullion van attacks, can you imagine how many more haven’t bn identified? Crazy!” she said.
