Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Prophet Kumchacha, has sparked widespread debate after making a provocative statement directed at Roman Fada, the veteran radio host and former manager of the late Daddy Lumba. During a discussion on Adom FM following the passing of the celebrated highlife legend, Kumchacha openly questioned Roman Fada about what he described as an “unusual pattern” involving the deaths of artistes associated with him.
Kumchacha claimed that over the past two decades, every musician he had seen Roman Fada manage or closely work with had reportedly died. He referenced incidents in Kumasi, where two artistes allegedly passed away after collaborating with Fada, and added a political twist by claiming that GFP founder Akua Donkor also died shortly after announcing Roman Fada as her running mate for the 2024 general elections.
“Why has every artiste you’ve worked with died?” Kumchacha asked on-air, prompting discomfort from both the programme host and listeners. Despite efforts by the host to redirect the conversation towards a respectful tribute to Daddy Lumba, Kumchacha persisted with his line of questioning, maintaining his stance.
Roman Fada has not responded publicly to the claims as of the time of filing this report.
