WORLD BANK DISBURSES $360 MILLION TO SUPPORT GHANA’S ECONOMY
Ghana has received $360 million from the World Bank’s International Development Association (IDA).
The payment is being made as part of the Second Resilient Recovery Development Policy Financing operation, which aims to assist the Ghanaian government in reestablishing macroeconomic stability and strengthening the framework for more resilient and sustainable economic growth in order to create jobs.
This followed the facility’s June 2025 approval by the World Bank board and its July 2025 ratification by Ghana’s parliament.
