Ghanaian rapper, Tulenkey has revealed the most stressful and annoying thing about being an artist in Ghana.
Tulenkey who appeared on Okyeame Quophi’s ‘Drive Time’ show on Angel FM said that in Ghana, a musician will have to kiss ‘ass’ all the time to get what you want.
He bemoaned the fact that some brands are outspoken and be vocal about things affecting the industry but when that brand takes that path, he will be seen as disrespectful and be sidelined so one can only keep quiet and say ‘Yes Sir Master’ to gatekeepers.
He admitted that personally he has been an as$ kisser and it has helped him in his music career but not for the most part.
