Ghanaian musician Reggie Zippy has ignited fresh concern among fans and industry colleagues after posting a deeply emotional video online, where he opened up about the mental toll his ongoing feud with ex-wife Edith Ward is taking on him.
In the video, which circulated widely on social media, the singer, whose real name is Reginald Ainooson, revealed that he is currently managing mental health challenges with daily medication. He candidly addressed the emotional distress he faces amid their bitter post-divorce dispute.
“Listen to me, I’m telling you this — if anything should happen to me, I’m already battling mental health,” Reggie declared, voice shaking with emotion. “If you think I’m lying, I can show you all my medications that I have to take every single day just to function as a normal human being.”
The musician expressed frustration and heartbreak over what he described as sustained emotional torment inflicted by Edith behind the scenes despite the end of their marriage.
“You are killing me behind the scenes. What have I done to you? What the hell have I done to you?” he questioned passionately.
Reggie accused his ex-wife of being ungrateful and disrespectful, even in front of their children.
“Is it my fault that you had me and disrespected me to my face, to my children, and you continue to do that?” he lamented. “Is it my fault that you divorced me? Am I the only man you’ve ever been with? Just leave me alone.”

“What more do you want? I can’t live my life just because I’ve been divorced?” he asked before ending the video abruptly.
