YOU DO NOT HAVE A MONOPOLY ON VIOLENCE, FINANCE MINISTER WARNS NDC.

Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has issued a stern warning to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against any attempts at violent conduct before, during, or after the 2024  polls.

He disclosed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not have a monopoly on violence, as they have attempted to portray to Ghanaians, indicating that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is fully prepared to confront them.

The Minister, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Karaga, addressed party supporters in Kumbungu, located in the Northern Region. He challenged the NDC to make any misstep during the elections, warning that they would come to regret it.

“I am urging you all to come out in your numbers on December 7 and vote massively for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kumbungu and the Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for President. I have no doubt in my mind that Hon Fataw Salam will be in parliament in 2025 because he has proven to be hardworking. Let us make him our MP and make Dr Mahamudu Bawumia President”, he urged.

He however served caution”…but let me warn the NDC that the NPP stands for peace. The blood that runs through their veins is the same blood NPP members have. They have no monopoly over violence and if they dare attempt any act of violence during the polls, we shall face them squarely. Late anyone try and will see what awaits that person”
