YOU’RE A SELL OUT– Kwame Dadzie Blasts King Promise For Not Performing Because Wizkid Didn’t Perform At His Concert

Singer, King Promise has received criticism for his remarks after declining to take the stage at Wizkid’s show organized in Accra over the weekend.

Along with the Nigerian musician, other artists that were announced as performers but did not appear at the concert were King Promise and R2Bees.

The Ghanaian musician made a same justification in a statement as Wizkid did, citing security and the safety of his fans.

Ghanaian journalist Kwame Dadzie, who was not pleased with King’s response, suggested that he should have kept quiet because the headline performer was the center of attention.

He claimed that King Promise is a fan of Wizkid and does not give a damn about the people who gave birth to him.

Kwame Dadzie wrote: “Dear King Promise, You know the meaning of what you did? You insulted your fellow Ghanaian artistes that performed at the show.

You should have even kept mute cos the attention was on the headline artiste Wizkid and not YOU. Nobody needed an explanation from you.

You dey follow Wiz so you don’t even care about the people that made you. That “safety” excuse you gave is a subterfuge. You failed to mount the stage in solidarity with your boss, Wiz. You be sellout!”
