Rapper and vocalist, Lasmid was aggressively attacked by a Ghanaian show promoter for demanding high fees while still a rookie in the business.
The young man, who goes by name Nana Rex, expressed his rage at the Friday Night crooner for not being reasonable with his fee demands despite only having two hit songs and maybe performing for less than 30 minutes when he puts on any show.
Rex claimed in a video posted to Twitter that, except from Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie who are “expensive,” no musician should scam event organizers by asking their “pound of flesh” when asked to perform.
Rex came to the conclusion that event planners should be reasonable with their charges because they use their events to promote and maintain an artist’s relevance.
