The current economic crisis, which radio and television presenter, Afia Pokuaa, commonly known as Vim Lady, of Accra’s Okay FM has pinned on the governing NPP party, has made life for many Ghanaians intolerably difficult.
According to the OKAY FM presenter, if the NPP and Akufo Addo keeps ruining the economy, they will receive fewer than ten percent (10%) of the votes in the upcoming national elections in 2024.
Speaking on her “Egyasogyaso” show on Okay FM stated, “You are going to pay dearly in the 2024 elections. You people just have two years more. Last minutes to prove us wrong. In the two years that are ahead of us, if you do not try to save your image, and the problems you will get in this country, you might not get 10 per cent of the votes.”
Afia Pokuaa as she is known in real life charged the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Attah to resign from his post.
She, therefore, pleaded with President Akufo Addo to follow her advice and remove the finance minister, who had made it clear time and time again that Ghana would never need IMF aid.
“There is a lot of dissatisfaction. On top of that, all the information I’m receiving matches what’s happening on the ground. Listen to others. As much as I beg you, Nana Addo, to remove Ken Ofori Atta from office“ According to Afia Pokuaa.
