Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has addressed the conflict between gospel singer Obaapa Christy and her former spouse, Pastor Love, who specifically blames Kingdom FM presenter Fiifi Pratt for reigniting old tensions during a recent interview.
Kwaku Manu stated that Fiifi Pratt asked Obaapa Christy sensitive questions, which evoked painful memories of her past with Pastor Love.
“Fiifi Pratt was aware of the issues between Obaapa Christy and her ex-husband, yet he still chose to ask questions that stirred up the conflict,” Manu said.
In the interview, Obaapa Christy downplayed Pastor Love’s role in her musical journey, prompting him to respond publicly with damaging accusations. Kwaku Manu believes this situation could have been avoided if the host had not guided the conversation in that direction.
“Fiifi Pratt has interviewed Pastor Love before, so he was aware of the challenges in their marriage. Yet, instead of promoting peace, he brought up those issues again,” Manu stated.
The actor criticized the tendency of some media personalities to pressure their guests into making controversial statements solely to create viral moments, regardless of the potential repercussions.
“I know presenters who intentionally resurrect past conflicts to make their shows trend, even though those issues have long been resolved. They fail to consider the impact on the individuals involved.”
