Award-winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo better famed on stage as Sarkodie has finally addressed the fight between Stonebwoy and his manager Angelo. Says Stonebwoy went extreme.
Sarkodie brought the nation to a halt on the 16th of August during his Black love virtual concert which witnessed millions of fans trooping to the online platforms to stream. The traffic was so intense that at a point the system had to even shut down.
Sarkodie released a press statement today to speak on Issues regarding the concert, among them was the fight between Stonebwoy and Angel Town.
According to Sarkodie, Stonebwoy had every right to get angry and even leave the premises since we all have emotions and the right to get angry.
But for Stonebwoy to transform that anger into physical assault was way below the belt. He said..
“… this time my brother went overboard, and it’s the highest level of disrespect”.
Citing himself as an example, Sarkodie explained how he had been in the entertainment industry for long and has hardly reacted to anything not because he had nothing to say. On the contrary, he built a mechanism to be able to deal with people, regardless of how they are.
“there have been several incidents where I felt disrespected by organizers, media personnel, and my own colleagues sometimes, but I always control myself because of the bigger picture…”
He ended by stating that, indeed Stonebwoy punched his manager and he had to condemn the act.
“so the long and short of the story is that, yes my brother did hit my manager and I am here to confirm and condemn the act and let him know that I’m extremely disappointed knowing how he is with Angelo”.
