The former communications manager for the 2024 Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign, Dennis Miracle Aboagye has established that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would continue to criticize the government despite the intimidation.
The Ghana Police Service and National Security have detained a few New Patriotic Party members.
They have not yet been released from police custody after being granted bail on August 13, 2025.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye stated on Accra’s OKAY FM that the government cannot frighten the opposition by using the security services.
He asserts that no matter how much intimidation they endure, they will not stop criticizing the administration.
“You cannot prevent us from talking. If you arrest me, I will be in there for just a few days, and I will be back to talk some more,” he said.
Dennis Miracles Abiagye noted that the actions of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in just seven months in power have vindicated Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
In order to improve the nation, he urged the government to act morally; else, they would remain critical.
