37 MILITARY HOSPITAL TO CLOSE EMERGENCY UNIT FOR FUMIGATION FROM JUNE 4

The 37 Military Hospital has stated that its Medical Emergency Unit will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, June 4, to Saturday, June 14, 2025, for a planned fumigation exercise.

In a statement from the Acting Director General of Public Relations, Lieutenant R.K. Kotoku, the hospital clarified that the closure is part of its regular protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.

The hospital has encouraged the community to utilise emergency medical services at other healthcare centres during the designated time.

Lieutenant Kotoku also confirmed that special provisions would be established to serve eligible individuals via the Trauma Surgical Emergency Unit, which will continue to function during the fumigation period.

The statement conveyed apologies for any trouble caused and expressed gratitude to the public for their understanding.
