Legendary Ghanaian rapper, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah popularly known as Tic Tac has said that about 75% of Ghanaians are thieves.
The musician has taken to his Twitter page and drags Ghanaians over their style of selling and the outrageous prices they give to their goods and services.
The artist lamented about how some sellers have intentionally increased the prices of their goods with outrageous prices. He has described 75% of Ghanaians as thieves, especially business owners due to their nature.
In one of the tweets, Tic Tac wrote “It will interest you to know that almost 75% of the Ghanaian population are thieves, you may not agree but it’s the truth. Those who own businesses will tell you.”
According to Tic Tac, he has been buying olives for 16gh for some time until it was increased to GHc20 which he thought was normal due to the recent increase in transport fares. He however mentioned how he had to buy the same product for GHc45 just a few days later.
“I have been buying olives for Ghc16 for some time now but just two weeks ago I went to buy some and it was Ghc20 I was like oh it’s still manageable but today I went and it was Ghc45. Chale!!! What’s going on?”
