TV AFRICA RE-BRANDS WITH NEW EXCITING PROGRAMS FOR 2018

Ideal Groupe, a private financial holding company, acquired a majority share in TV Africa about two years old and rolled out a big re-branding campaign to re-position the station in the competitive TV market following 13 years of operations under the old management.

However, this year 2018, the station has rolled out another re-branding of its on-air programming which seeks to give a ‘new look and feel that will give viewers the best experience with new programs and contents, new presenters, news from all corridors, in-depth analyses of national issues, international standards, excellent customer service delivery, speed and a host of others.’

Speaking on the Breakfast Live show hosted by Ghanaian politician and journalist, Obuobia Darko Opoku, actress Nikki Samonas and certified nutritionist, Khadijat El- Alawa, the Managing Director, Ekow Blankson assured viewers of TV Africa about the big phase change in Accra and the yet to be done phase change in other parts of the country which will give viewers a fair vision and mark of excellence.

Award winning movie director Shirley Frimpong Manso, who is the COO of the station, also promised to change the face of breakfast shows in Ghana.

The re-launch saw performances from Nana Yaa who happens to be the daughter of Pat Thomas. Efya performed her nationwide hit song, ‘Best in Me’ and congratulated TV Africa for their new development and thanked them for supporting her talent. Gyedu Blay Ambolley graced the show with a spectacular performance and promised to release an album, hopefully before Easter.

The new TV Africa will have a feel of youthful, vibrant and exciting new presenters like Chris Attoh, Joselyn Dumas, Baby G,  Kofi Laing, Patrice Amegashie,etc.

TV Africa, a private local television station aimed to project Ghanaian and African values, can be viewed on DTT in Ghana and also on GoTV channel 175 and DSTV channel 362.
