Reputed journalist and television presenter, Berla Mundi has stated that she does not consider herself a celebrity, therefore when she is spotted in a cab or other public transportation, no one should be shocked.
In response to a question on Twitter about why she still chooses cabs at her level, Berla Mundi said that since she is not a celebrity, there is nothing wrong with that.
“I’m not a celebrity sir. I’m just a young Ghanaian lady on TV who also picks taxis and used to pick trotro too,” Berla Mundi replied.
In Ghana here, once you make it into the media space, you are grouped under a certain status quo. You are automatically classified as a celebrity and a as result, there are some high expectations.
