CECILIA DAPAAH RESIGNED OUT OF GUILTY CONSCIENCE – Pappy Kojo

Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo has questioned why Cecilia Dapaah, who was a victim of the theft case that has caused online confusion, would resign from her post as the sanitation minister.

The minister had previously stated that he would step aside to allow for additional investigations amid the issue surrounding the numerous foreign and local currencies that her house helpers were accused of stealing from her property.

Madam Dapaah stated in her letter of resignation to President Akufo-Addo that she made the decision to quit in order to prevent this issue from preoccupying the government and impeding its work at such a crucial moment.

However, the topic that has now taken over social media was brought up on the United Showbiz, and a guest, Pappy Kojo, was invited to offer his perspective.

The ‘Wave’ singer proved that the minister’s decision to resign wasn’t a wise one.

“She was the victim so I don’t know why she had to resign. Resigning at this point feels like she is guilty of something. She resigned out of guilty conscience, because if I am a victim, resigning won’t be the first thing to do. I will fight to prove that I am a victim. Resigning is like giving up. But then again, she is a woman so maybe she doesn’t want to be caught in the chaos,” he stated.

Pappy Kojo, however, expressed his lack of interest in politics.

“Those things don’t bother me. I am an Italian.”
