GHANA’S CHEF SMITH’S GUINNESS WORLD RECORD CERTIFICATE ALLEGEDLY FAKE?

Recent events have raised questions about Chef Smith’s highly publicized assertion of achieving a Guinness World Record for the longest cook-a-thon.

This study seeks to establish the genuineness of the document and the details of its release.

The investigation included interviews with individuals from the Guinness World Records organization, scrutiny of official records, and review of the materials provided by Chef Smith at his announcement.

Interesting disclosures suggest that Chef Smith’s recent achievement of a “Guinness World Record” for the longest cookathon may not be genuine.

According to a reliable source within Guinness World Records reported by blogger, GhHyper, Chef Smith never applied for the record in the first place, and the plaque he displayed was self-printed.

Based on information from a trustworthy insider at Guinness World Records, Chef Smith did not submit an application for the record initially. Additionally, the plaque he showcased to prove his accomplishment was printed by himself and not given by the official organization.

The lack of an official app and the homemade label are important signs of this fake.

Chef Smith should retract his claim publicly in order to avoid spreading more misinformation.

Meanwhile, Chef Ebenezer Smith is currently in police custody at La police station for supposedly scamming Amadia Shopping Mall, one of the sponsors, out of around GHC350,000 during his cooking marathon.

Chef Smith is currently the record holder for the longest individual cooking marathon according to Guinness World Records.

The record was achieved in 802 hours and 25 minutes by him.

Chef Smith was taken into custody as he shared news of his groundbreaking success on Tuesday (2 July) at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
