GHANAIAN ACTOR NANA YEBOAH OPENS UP ABOUT ATTEMPTED POISONING BY A CLOSE FRIEND

Popular Kumawood actor Nana Yeboah has revealed a harrowing account of how he narrowly escaped being poisoned by someone he considered a close friend. According to the outspoken actor, the incident occurred in his home, leaving him deeply shaken and wary of those around him.

Speaking during an interview with actress and host Emelia Brobbey, Nana Yeboah recounted how the friend, who frequently visited his home, tampered with a drink from his storage area, lacing it with a poisonous substance.

“There was this one time my friend came to visit me at my house, and I offered him some drinks. I had Malt and Fru Telli juice available. He went into one of the rooms where I store my drinks. He picked a few, opened one of them, and added something to it. At first, I didn’t suspect anything unusual,” Yeboah recalled.

The actor revealed that he was seconds away from consuming the drink when he noticed something odd. “When I poured the drink into a glass, it immediately foamed up, and the box was swelling. That’s when I realised something was wrong and threw it away,” he said, adding that he believed divine intervention saved his life.

Suspecting foul play, Nana Yeboah said he confronted his friend over the incident, as the individual was the only one who frequently visited him. “I thought long and hard about who would want to poison me, and the only person who came to mind was my friend. I called him and asked if he was sent to kill me. He couldn’t say a word,” Yeboah recounted.

Days later, the friend returned to ask for forgiveness. “He came back a week later, begging for forgiveness. But I told him there was nothing to forgive because when I initially confronted him, he denied it. Since then, he hasn’t contacted me again,” the actor said.

The terrifying incident has left Nana Yeboah deeply unsettled. He admits that it has changed how he interacts with people. “This whole thing has really frightened me. I’m now extremely scared of people,” he shared.

Nana Yeboah’s ordeal is a cautionary tale, highlighting the potential dangers of misplaced trust. Despite the trauma, the actor has continued to express gratitude for being alive and urges others to remain vigilant.
