A PLUS URGES MAHAMA TO PRIORITIZE ACTION OVER SPEECHES FOR GHANA’S PROGRESS

Member of Parliament-elect Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has called on President-elect John Dramani Mahama to focus on delivering tangible progress rather than relying on rhetoric.

In an open letter shared on Facebook, A Plus emphasized that Ghanaians are looking for actionable solutions to drive development, not lofty speeches or grand promises.

“Mr. President-Elect, rhetoric is the wind that whispers through the ears; it is action that builds lasting monuments. Ghana does not need grand speeches or lofty promises; what she needs is a solid foundation for progress,” he wrote.

A Plus reminded the President-elect of the weight of responsibility that comes with his second tenure. He urged Mahama to seize the moment to leave a lasting legacy, cautioning that failure to deliver would tarnish his reputation and leadership history.

“This is your moment to leave a legacy that generations will honor. Should you falter, the weight of failure will rest solely on your shoulders. But should you succeed, your name will echo through history as the leader who transformed Ghana into a beacon of hope and prosperity,” A Plus added.

Acknowledging Mahama’s extensive political experience, the MP-elect highlighted the President-elect’s journey through Ghanaian politics, from serving as a Member of Parliament to his previous tenure as President. He encouraged Mahama to apply lessons learned during his years in opposition to guide his leadership.

As Ghana faces significant challenges, A Plus urged Mahama to prioritize the well-being of citizens, act with love and dedication, and take bold actions to address the country’s pressing issues.

The letter concludes with a reminder that Ghana’s future lies not in words but in transformative actions that will stand the test of time.
