Social media is currently ablaze with shots fired by two Ghanaian rappers, Amerado and Medikal over popularity and wealth status.
The banter began when Amerado, in a post on X, made the argument that he deserves to win the ‘Artiste of the Year’ award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards, citing his accomplishments.
In retaliation, Amerado hit back with a jab at Medikal, alluding to previous scandals linked to his spouse, Fella Makafui, and alleging that Medikal had revealed her private issues.
Medikal responded by mocking Amerado’s assertion that his music was played in the Al-Nassr Football Club locker room, labelling it as an exaggeration.
Amerado responded by alleging that Medikal had cancelled a New York concert because of low ticket sales and due to his ego, he couldn’t admit playing small shows in Ghana.
