JULIUS DEBRAH ALLEGEDLY SUMMONS SAMMY GYAMFI OVER AGRADAA DOLLAR GIFT BROUHAHA

According to reports, Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff, has called on the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, regarding a viral video in which he presents large amounts of money to evangelist and ex-fetish priestess Nana Agradaa.

Sammy Gyamfi is facing significant criticism following the emergence of a video showing him giving large amounts of money to fetish priestess turned pastor Patricia Asiedua, widely recognised as Nana Agradaa.

In the viral video posted on the social media platform X, Sammy Gyamfi was seen next to his white Range Rover, posing for a picture with Nana Agradaa.

Following a short dialogue between the two, Sammy Gyamfi got into his car.

Sammy Gyamfi, in the car, was observed counting numerous US dollar bills.

Nana Agradaa, upon witnessing Sammy Gyamfi count the dollars, demanded that he give her all the notes rather than just a portion.

She later grabbed all the money from his hands and, walking away, flaunted the huge sums of US dollars to bystanders, saying, “I have taken dollars from Sammy Gyamfi.”

The collected information indicates that Sammy Gyamfi has been summoned to meet with the Chief of Staff to clarify the details regarding the transaction.

The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, had previously cautioned government appointees that there would be no justification at all when an appointee oversteps their bounds.

Julius Debrah stated that appointees are required to adhere to the recently established Code of Conduct by President John Dramani Mahama, and cautioned that violations will not be accepted.

In the meantime, Sammy Gyamfi has made a public apology for his mistake.

Sammy Gyamfi states that he genuinely regrets the regrettable act of indiscretion.

He disclosed that the money given to Nana Agradaa is part of his daily and lifelong practice of lending to those in need.
