POLICE BUST ROBBERY GANG: ALL FIVE CONVICTED AND JAILED FOR MAJOR INCIDENTS
A five-member robbery group that was responsible for two major events in the Greater Accra Region was apprehended, prosecuted, and found guilty by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command, marking a landmark victory in the fight against crime.

A heist at the Jos Bakery Head Office in Dome and another incident near ACP Junction were the targets of the police operation.
The Jos Bakery robbery occurred on May 11, 2025, at approximately 1:25 a.m., when two armed men, Isaac Agbezudor alias “Money Man,” a 20-year-old mechanic, and Justice Akwasi Sarfo Oppong alias “Gariba Manta” or “Demon,” a 19-year-old Okada rider, attacked staff.
Riding an unlicensed motorbike, they fired a locally made pistol to instil fear, making off with a Tecno Pop 8 smartphone valued at GH¢1,500 and a handbag containing personal effects.
Investigations swiftly led to the arrest of Isaac Agbezudor on May 14, 2025, through a covert operation.
His confession aided in retrieving key exhibits, including the motorbike and clothing used in the robbery, and identifying his accomplice.
The intelligence and operations personnel of the Accra Regional Police Command have been praised for their prompt efforts in apprehending and convicting all five offenders.
