He was taken into custody after he organized a press event to reveal his alleged Guinness World Record cooking marathon accomplishment.
According to reports, Nana Boroo, a Ghanaian artiste, allegedly arrested Chef Smith for owing him money.
Ben, his manager, refuted the allegation that Smith owed Boroo.
Although not much information has been disclosed, Amadaia Shopping Center, which sponsors Chef Smith, has provided information on his record-breaking cook-a-thon attempt.
A statement released by the management of Amadia Shopping Center disclosed that Nana Boroo’s sister is the owner of the company.
In the statement, they brought up a breach of contract along with other matters.
