Legendary Highlife musician Nana Amakye Dede, better known by his stage as Amakye Dede or Iron Boy has mentioned three of his favorite musicians from previous musical eras after him.
The “Iron Boy” singer responded to a query regarding the new generation of Ghanaian singers by listing Sarkodie, Fameye, and Kofi Kinaata as his favorite artists.
Amakye Dede claims that the artists on the following list are his favorites because of their excellent music and lyricism.
“If you ask me who my favourites are, I would go in for rapper Sarkodie, Fameye and then Kofi Kinaata. These guys are very good with music and they sing because they have a story to tell,” Amakye Dede told ace journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah.
