Ghanaian musician Amerado has engaged in the discourse surrounding the recipient of the Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The ‘Kwaku Ananse’ hit maker shared a post of his activities in the year 2024 with the caption: “Amerado in 2024, Artiste Of The Year conversation without Amerado under the 2024 year of Review is an exposure of ignorance and consequently brutal to the industry and upcoming ones.”
As the nomination period approaches for the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, discussions regarding the potential winner of the Artiste of the Year category have intensified. Other artists who have been referenced in this debate include King Paluta, King Promise, Stonebwoy, Team Eternity Ghana, DopeNation, Kofi Kinaata, and Fameye.
According to the Telecel Ghana Music Awards definition, “The Artiste of the Year is the Artiste(s) adjudged by the Academy, Board and the General Public as the artiste with the highest audience appeal and popularity in the year under review.
