CHAOS BREAK OUT AT KNUST CAMPUS AS STUDENTS OF KATANGA AND UNITY HALL CLASH

Chaos erupted at the campus of  Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) on Thursday following a disagreement.

According to reports, in the late hours of today, the residents of the University Hall of KNUST, Katanga processed on campus as part of their Hall Week Celebration and in the course of the procession, they clashed with the residents of Unity Hall-Conti.

This clash escalated into the throwing of stones and other objects at each other. Even though there are no reports on the number of people injured, there are several people who were injured including a military officer according to eyewitnesses.

However, the cause of the clash is not immediately known.
