Ghanaian actress, Asantewaa has made it clear that she is willing to take on a film role even if the compensation is minimal.
During an interview with Berla Mundi, Asantewaa, who identifies as a top-tier actress, mentioned that she would willingly turn down film roles with low pay.
Asantewaa began her journey as a TikTok and social media influencer in 2020 amidst the Coronavirus pandemic while the globe was under lockdown. Within a year, she quickly gained a large group of followers, and just two years later, she revealed that she was making more than GH¢10k monthly.
Adom Online noted that “Whether you are a TikTok subscriber or not, you probably would have heard of Asantewaa, a young lady who brought smiles on many faces during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic lockdown.”
