Gospel Musician, Broda Sammy urged churches to begin properly looking after their less fortunate church members.
During an appearance on Empress Gifty Adorye’s United Showbiz show, Broda Sammy revealed that churches need to implement new approaches in order to attract followers to Christ.
He described how the majority of church members are impoverished and struggle to provide for themselves, yet they are pressured to contribute financially towards church initiatives.
“Some churches are greedy. You know your members are poor and broke but you are always asking them for money. How do you expect them to survive? Instead of giving them money to engage in petty trades, you keep taking the little money they have to fund church projects”. He said.
