COURT ORDERS ODARTEY LAMPTEY’S EX-WIFE TO PACK OUT OF HIS 7-BEDROOM EAST LEGON MANSION

The Court of Appeal in Accra has finally given its ruling in the long legal battle between former Ghana international player, Odartey Lamptey and his ex-wife, Gloria Appiah over the possession of a 7-bedroom house in East Legon.

The 7-year legal tussle finally came to an end after three judges who sat on the case ruled in favour of Odartey Lamptey and ordered his ex-wife Gloria, to with immediate effect, vacate the East Legon Mansion.
Gloria, after a court ruled that she be settled by Odartey Lamptey in 2013 over their divorce, was given a 4-bedroom house in Dome, a car and GHC 200,000 as alimony.
However, she had other plans as she decided to confiscate the 7-bedroom house owned by the ex-player and was living in it. In 2017, she filed an appeal in court to get a ruling in her favor so she could purchase the edifice but after so many years, she has been asked to hand over the property.
The 2017 case was presided over by Justice Cecilia Don-Chebey Agbevey of the Accra High Court.
Nii Odartey Lamptey and his family life was brought under the limelight when it was revealed that all the 3 children he bore with Gloria Appiah were actually not his.
The ex-Ghanaian international granted a number of interviews where he shed tears over the matter and indicated that he had sacrificed for so long thinking he was raising his own kids.
When the matter hit social media, his then wife, Gloria Lamptey (now Appiah), came out with the narrative that her husband (Odartey), was impotent.
Years after their divorce, Odartey Lamptey has welcomed 3 beautiful children of his own with his new wife, Ruweida.
